The Accreditation Council

The Accreditation Council is an advisory body of the Kosovo Accreditation General  Directorate (DAK).

The Accreditation Council has the following responsibilities and duties: 

 Examine the findings and records within the accreditation case-file;

 Records its conclusions concerning the case-file;

Makes recommendation on granting, not granting accreditation, extension, renewal of  accreditation.

Council may request additional information from the assessment team nominated by the General Director of DAK, if necessary, in order to make correct conclusions.

The Accreditation Council consists of an unlimited number of experts in various technical fields.

The members of the Accreditation Council are appointed by the Director General of DAK out of the approved list by the Minister of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

From the technical point of view, the members of the Accreditation Council cover all activities of accreditation services in DAK.
