After that DAK has been excepted at ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, on date 27.07.2010) and in IAF (International Accreditation Forum, on date 02.08.2010), it was organized the press conference in which took part representatives from Ministry of Trade and Industry, Minister of Trade and Industry Mr. Lutfi Zharku, Mr. Sefer Tasholli-Adviser for quality infrastructure at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, representatives from instructions and many journalists from deferent medias.
At oppening of press confernve the minister of MTI, Mr. Lutfi Zharku, said that Kosovo Accrediataion Directorate is the only govermental body, estabished by law to do the assessmet based on national standards, technikal competence and organising the coformity assemment for testing, calibretion, certification and inspection, in public sector as well in the private sector, on volunetary or mandatory field.
He mentioned that DAK till now has accredited 15 Conformity assessment bodies, 14 from them are laboratories for testing and one is inspection body. In accreditation procedure are also 10 test laboratories, till now DAK has organized 35 trainings for ISO 9001 and ISO 17011. He also mentions that DAK excellent cooperation with regional institution. “Accreditation Directorate has more than 54 experts in different fields, 8 assessors and 5 lead assessors that are involved in accreditation procedures, also cooperates with national bodies in region, exchange of lead assessors and assessors and experts in accrediataion procedures ” he added.
One of biggest DAK achievements is being member of EA on 26 November 2009, and his status is more advanced now. DAK also has continued with other achievement by being member of International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, on date 27 of this year and also at International Accreditation Forum on date 2 August of this year.
This membership status to DAK gives the right not just participating on ILAC but also to vote on different issues relating with accreditation process.
On this ocasion DAK director Mr.Ibush Luzha, had also a speach who beside other said:Membership in this forum is an objective othat DAK which has made as aim to be part of inetrnational net and evropian accrediation organismes. Durin this two last years DAK has sighn the contravt dor coopertion with EA, and we are mebers with right to vote in ILAC, and full memeber at IAF.
All this come up as result of work and result of progresses achieved from DAK during last two years at setting up quality management system that is functional in accordance with European and international standards for accreditation strengthen the institutional and professional capacities and offering accreditation services.
